Many people know they should, and want to, be more active but don’t know where to start. A bespoked package will help you on this journey and will consider your goals, your life and your fears.
Barriers to exercise can include:
- Fear of pain
- Worries about appearance
- Intimidated by fitness classes and gyms
- Not knowing how you should ‘feel’ when exercising
These issues can affect young or old, and result from ill health, being overweight, long term pain or following a serious injury.
We recognise that these fears are valid and our comprehensive initial consultation in our relaxing, informal environment will discuss these in depth with you and aim to agree a practical action plan and achievable goals. In short we will ‘listen to your story’.
Subsequent sessions can be held in a variety of settings to help you achieve your aims. Possibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Nordic walking on a tow path
- Power walking in a park
- Open water swimming
- Accompanied sessions at a gym
Simply put our sessions will be truly bespoked and put you at the centre of everything we do.
If your target is to go on to join a group such as a "couch to 5k" then we have links in place to allow for a seamless progression towards this, and we will be there every step of the way to cheer you on towards your achievements.
